Mikey gets his wish!

On Friday Michael and Erickson have the day off of school so we thought we would try to find something fun for them to do. Mike has been wanting to take Michael on a father-son outing and came up with the great idea of going rock climbing.

Now, usually if Michael wants something he will ask for it repeatedly. And to be clear, usually he is asking to play a video game of some sort or other. However, while talking to Grandpa Andy last week, Michael informed him that he has been trying to convince Mike to take him rock climbing. It was pretty funny as this was news to us.

Well, his wish is coming true. On Friday night Mike is taking Michael rock climbing at an indoor climbing place around here. It should be pretty exciting to watch. I, of course, plan to go armed with my camera. I have a bit of the paparazzi in me when it comes to my kids. (Perhaps that is why I started this site - an outlet for all of my pictures! What good are they if they just sit on the computer?) I will let you know how it goes!
