Today was an extremely productive day. I added a cool music feature for your listening pleasure, or mine as the case may be. I was pretty excited about that. But then, Mike and I figured out how to upload video to our computer from our video camera so now I can post our own videos (mind you we have had this camera for about two years and have never done this) . Now this I am truly excited about! We have about 3 different software programs specifically for videos on our computer that we have never used, or tried to use and could never figure out. Until now. We have taken so much video of the kids over the years and it just sits on tapes in a drawer. This was a happy development for us!
Now I don't want to give the impression that we were inside all day as that was not the case. Today was a gloriously beautiful Fall day that was unseasonably warm. So to enjoy the weather, and to accomplish something on the home front, we cleaned out the garage in preparation for the cold. Twice a year, and no more, we undertake the daunting task of cleaning out the garage that gets horribly and embarrassingly messy over the summer so we can fit the cars back in before the snow falls. One of my favorite things about cleaning at this time of year is that I get to throw away a ton of broken toys that somehow seem to beg to be put out of their misery by summers end. Luckily, I am there to answer that call. It is a thankless job to be sure, but someone has to do it. I am continually amazed at how much junk we seem to gather - the garbage man will be thrilled with us this week.
Below is a product of my fiddling around with the computer today. Background: At the end of September we went up north to my Grandma's house for what has become our annual Mike's birthday/salmon fishing trip. While there, we took the boys to the sand dunes for the first time. (If you have never been there before, it is a must see and do activity!) This sets the scene for our little movie. It is only about a minute, but if you don't want to watch the whole thing, at the very least fast forward to the end. We laugh so hard each time we watch this. Enjoy!

really cool video (looks like an old western)
-that reminds me I need to start remembering to video the kids more often!
You are very, very, VERY(!!!) good:)
you are too kind! I would like to take all of the credit but honestly, where would we be without Michael's final sand kick?
We used software called muvee autoProducer to make it. It is very cool!
