Spring break recap...a few days later!!!

So when I said that I would post more tomorrow, I really meant a week from then...oops! As always, we had a wonderful time up north and as usual, both Mike and I agree that it would be great to live up there. He even found a great 26 acre property close to my parent's cottage and within walking distance to Lake Michigan that is for sale. Of course the 1 million price tag does pose some problems so if anyone has any suggestions on how to raise the funds please let me know!!! Or if you just want to donate money to the cause let me know - the property comes with some cottages on a lake and we would be more than happy to let you stay there at any time!

The boys had a great time getting back to nature without the distractions of the Wii or computer. It was FABULOUS! Walks in the woods, boiling rocks from the fire in Lake Michigan, bonfires, wood whittling, bird watching...so great!

And while we were up there Mike and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!

10 YEARS!!!!!

To celebrate we enjoyed the day at Lake Michigan before driving all over Traverse looking for a new Thai restaurant. We finally found it right as we were getting ready to give up. Thankfully the food was really good and worth the search.

10 years!! Happy, happy to us!!! :-) I Love You Mike!!!

In other news, the boys spring soccer season officially kicked off last week and they had team pictures yesterday. They have really great coaches so it should be a great season. I am an assistant coach for Michael's team again which I am excited about. Games start next Saturday.

Well, today as it is supposed to rain the boys and I are heading out to the movie theater with some friends to see the movie Inkheart. Should be pretty good.

Have a great Sunday and Happy Belated Birthday to my much adored Auntie Kathy!!! We love you and hope you had a great day with Mom, Dad and CB!!! And remember, no one can blame you for sticking your finger in the cake frosting on your own birthday!!! Wish we were there with all of you.

You never know how soon those people are looking to sell the land. Give them an offer, maybe they will section off some acres for you. Meanwhile, can you seriously live up there FULL time? Come on Michy??!?!!?!?!?!? You are a city girl!!! :)
