MSU Grandparents Camp

Thank you Grandpa Andy!
For the past three days Michael and Grandpa Andy have been bonding while living the college life at Michigan State University during Grandparents University! They stayed in the dorms, dined in the cafeteria, and toured the campus. Michael was quick to point out that the dorms were tiny! ha!
Wow! It is almost like a sneak peak into the future!

They participated in all kinds of awesome classes including studying samples from the Red Cedar River, making a comic strip, learning how the brain works and exploring the universe while learning some of the mysteries of physics and space. All totally up Michael's artistic and scientific alley! They also got to visit the bug house where each made my skin crawl with the following photos:blegghhhh!

They even got to meet a football player and the President of the University. And while Michael did call home A LOT, he had a great time and asked Grandpa to take him again next year.
Thank you Grandpa!

Looks like both Grandpa and Grandson had a great time and took some very interesting classes. Glad to hear Michael enjoyed it as much as his Grandpa. BTW - Grandpa Andy will be retiring a bit on the early side this evening. That's what being away from "campus life" for x-# of years will do.

Thanks again, Grandpa Andy! From the looks of the above "football player" I'm going to guess that MSU will have a tough season.

Michael had a great time... this was his first time really away from home for a few days, so now that he knows he can do it (bigger factor than you'd think), he should be good to go for the next big thing.

Thanks again for a great trip!
