We're baaaaaaaaack

We had a great time in the U P and I have over * *gulp** 400 pictures to prove it! I think I went a little overboard with the camera, but the scenery was just begging for me to take photos -- and as my children were NOT, I obliged the fantastic views around me instead.

All the way home Mike was deciding upon how exactly we could move up there and make a decent living in Paradise, MI where the population is like 2000 people. The strongest, most profitable idea we came up with so far has been becoming drug dealers, but as that probably wouldn't go over too well with most of the people we know and most likely won't be a good influence on the children, we will have to keep thinking about it.

All in all, we LOVED it up there. Loved, Loooved, LOOOOVED the U P.

As soon as I get all of my pictures uploaded - and if I still have enough memory in my computer after taking up so much with my beloved photos - I will put a slide show together. Perhaps a highlight reel with the kids and some favorite pictures, and then a hardcore edition for those who are still interested and want to see more of the scenery.

Now I am off to pick up a Jet's Pizza so we can end our vacation dining on a high note before our serious diets resume/start tomorrow...

It was a great trip. Many important things were learned:

1. The more modern time-saving stuff you use, the less time you have overall.

2. If you sting The Speed on the nose, prepare to die. Your corpse will be defiled.

3. Have a pet cricket? Take him on vacation, too!

4. Being "picky" doesn't apply when there's hair in your food.

5. Pingpong ball guns, ridiculously hot horseradish, and the best hamburgers ever await you all in Paradise, MI.

Pictures are coming....have to sort through all of them. I mean really, who needs to see 30 shots of varying degrees of a waterfall! Hopefully I can get to it later this afternoon!
