Last night we were treated to a wonderful Christmas concert at the boys school. Michael looked quite dapper if I don't say so myself and sported his first "MAN" tie, a tie that has been handed down through the years from his Uncle Dennis. I believe it served some time at Hillsdale around Mike's collar as well...
As the young 5's class was not a part of the show, Erick was an audience member who was not afraid to ask in a semi-not whispering tone if "it was time to go yet" at least several times throughout the evening. He has been singing songs around the house all week long and I think he felt a little left out of the action.

As far as the bathroom update goes, things have been a little slow going but I am not complaining. I ended up finding a new vanity that I preferred over the pedestal sink I had originally intended to put in and found a medicine cabinet that I really like. Unfortunately my floor is on back order until the end of the month and we had to do some modifying to fit the medicine cabinet into the existing space built into the wall. So it looks like the commode will be out of commission for a wee bit longer but hopefully everything else is in place so that tomorrow I will have some new woodwork up on the walls. Here's hoping at any rate!

I remember that tie! I think Dennis got his first job with IBM in that tie!! It has some good mo-jo! Everyone looks so cute.
Sorry about the bathroom...although it sounds like every project we've ever done! Wasn't the pedestal sink the whole impetus for the remodel? I'm surprised it wasn't something smaller like a light switch plate!!

The picture of Mike and Erick together is a crack-up. A little pair of glasses for the boy would really complete the identical looks!
Yes, Kris. You are correct! The whole bathroom redo was started by the purchase of the now sadly rejected pedestal sink. I did however get a fantastic deal on my new vanity so all is not lost!!
Maybe you could sell the pedestal sink at a garage sale and make some cash (to pay for the new vanity)!
