Thanksgiving pics

As promised, a few more pictures from Thanksgiving...The newest members of the cousins family...We are waiting to hear news of the arrival of their first batch of eggs...lay chickens! lay! Or I fear the scene below will become their fate...ha.

Auntie Kris with her beautiful bird
Not to be outdone, Michael and William with their beautiful bird!

And of course, a family tradition started a few years back -- bowling the Friday after Thanksgiving! It was quite entertaining. I even managed to get a turkey, and I didn't even use the bumpers that we had up in our lane! This picture just cracks me up. Mike was so excited about his new footwear!A common scene throughout the week:All in all we had a great visit. Betty, Kris and I even managed to make it out for a few hours the morning of Black Friday (NOTE: we did not leave until 8:00 AM so we missed most of the craziness and crowds) and scored some EXCELLENT deals! YAHOO!

one might say that some deals were a "steal," right? Thieving housewives, all.

Your honor, I was totally unaware of the thievery but it was Walmart so I didn't feel so bad.

I would also like to comment on the bowling "turkey". The emotional confidence of the bumpers and being 200 points above your nearest competitor was an unfair advantage. Plus, you were 25 years older than the other bowlers. Note: Michelle kicked a$# on the kiddie lane.

That's right. I came and took numbers on the kiddie lane and feel no shame. NO MERCY!!!!

And as far as the little "incident" -- who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? If the guy behind the register felt that he charged me fairly, who am I to complain?

Just a little defensive??

Good news! We have one laid egg!! Didn't we wager on the first lay date? Amazingly, it was December 4th...the exact date that they turned 4 months.
