Today at school, Michael delivered the welcoming message at Mass and did a great job. I was very proud of him as he spoke slowly and didn't seem nervous at all while he was speaking in front of the whole school.
And finally we have use of the bathroom again! While it is not finished - I have yet to add towel racks and any decorative elements (picture two dark small shelves on the wall next to the window)... we have use of the ever important toilet and sink! Yahoo! Here is what it looks like so far.
Much better than this don't you think!

very pretty! Nice choice of colors. Our new bathroom is exact same color scheme! :)
Very nice...just like out of the decorating magazines or the HGTV channel. Can't wait to try it out...

And now for our youngest public speaker: "Wish we could have been there to hear you. We are very proud of all of your achievements.
Love, Grandma, Grandpa &n Uncle CB
Your kid is CATHOLIC?!?! THE HORROR!
Yikes, those are some pretty hefty words to be throwing around in this part of Michigan...
Your bathroom rocks! Beautiful:) Oh, and.....um.....I'm Catholic....priests and nuns in the family, Catholic school, the whole thing......
Little inside joke for our West MI crowd. Catholics exist here, it's just better for the community that they're not talked about openly. All their the witchcraft and whatnot. As a decent person, surely you understand.
love the colors of the bathroom - looks awesome!
(we have the opposite issue in Cleveland... us Protestants are quite the minority)
Wow! The bathroom looks so wonderful! I love the colors and the bead board. You should put the two photos (before and after) fading over each other so we really see the before/after effect.
More importantly, Catholic or not, Mikey looks so darling and I'm proud of him for having the nerve to get up in front of the whole school and speak. I, personally, would need some sort of adult beverage before attempting such a feat!
Well, duh. He's CATHOLIC. They feed them booze every day right before they worship statues. Duh.
WOW....previous comment by GMaB, "...Can't wait to try it out..." - ha! ha! too funny!
Michy what an awesome job! i love it, i would of done EXACTLY the same thing, so UP my alley but you already know that!
You've given me ideas for your birthday! I am heading up to the Restoration Hardware outlet tomorrow. I have the perfect shower curtain from RH, but I will be using it my new bathroom.
I love it, I give your work a A++++!
Thank you for the PB gift cards, they will go to good use! ha! ha!
Love the bathroom!

Way to go Mickey, he'll be heading up debate club shortly! So proud! I had to do it my senior year and it was about C.B., I hate speaking in front of crowds - kudos to Mikey!
in need of a vallance? if so, i could make one like the one in my 1st floor bath on mckinley? or are you going to leave the window with blinds? either way works and looks awesome!
Can't remember what the valance looked like, but I loved the leopard print wall paper!!! I am thinking along the lines of something similar to your monogrammed shower curtain with the border - didn't you get that from Ballards????
