Great job Speedo!Near mid-summer we took the training wheels off of Erickson's bike, and he tried riding it once or twice. However, we then saw it sit in the back of the garage, with E instead opting to ride his scooter. Well tonight he decided to get back on his bike and ride! Mike did a great job of teaching him how to start and stop and I am happy to say that he can now join Michael in zooming up and down the street :-) Way to go Speed!

I saw the headline and thought it was going to be me. Damn kids get all the attention.
Very exciting! Congrats on this big accomplishment. Here's to praying for no wipeouts with his new found speed!
Do you still have your Big Wheel? Boy, you could really fly down the hill on that thing. Remember how you used the brake so many times that it flattened one side of the wheel? Peddle, bump, peddle, bump...
I remember showing off for Beth G. when she was over one day. I was going to stand up on my big wheel Evel Kinevel style whilst hotassing down the sidewalk. Forgot about that spring-loaded front wheel tilt feature until I let go the bars to stand to receive both love and glory. Ended up leaving most my skin behind. Mom soothed me by taking me to the pool. Nothing feels better on a skinned face than a high chlorine count.
I'm sure mom felt the chemicals would clean up your wounds!
Apparently E is ready to take it to the next level and has been practicing riding while standing up today...
So cute.....does he know about "look Ma, no hands??"
I am sure that is next on the list. I heard Michael yell that out to me the other day that he was trying to ride no handed...apparently this Evil Kinevil streak runs in the family!!!
