I Voted!

I did my part! And a little birdie told me that if you vote, Starbucks will give you a free cup of brewed coffee. Works for me!

I am a complete slacker of late but promise to catch up later today. Right now I am heading out to the gym, Target and Starbucks in the hour and a half before I have to pick up the kiddos...

***** UPDATE ******

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/11/04/1636104.aspx

Reading the comments is rather entertaining. Especially the one about people complaining about having to actually do something to get their free cup, because, you know, to actually have to work for something! Pah-lease. Granted, that is not exactly what the article says, but it is such a great analogy for what is happening today.

Brewed coffee? Where's Lodge when you need him?

a little birdie told me that since Starbucks is operating on the honor system, you can keep going back. ha!
Not that I would EVER do that, I'm just sayin'...

Good tip, Dragon! Now that our mortgage has been forgiven, I got nothing to do all day but collect my free coffee.

If you take an election yard sign to Chick-fil-a tomorrow, they will give you a free sandwich!

Now I'm going to have to steal a sign to get a free sandwich.

Our paper (right leaning) had a whole list of voter freebees.

How do you prove you voted? That little sticker? I voted absentee...I have no sticker. Ahhhh.

Interesting thought Laura - I was already mapping out my second cup but ran out of time before the kids got out of school. Ha!

And I had heard about Chik-fil-a too but we don't have one near us. Also Ben and Jerry's! Again, not one near us :-(

And Kris, I saw a lonely "I voted" sticker on the floor of a Target dressing room today. I should have picked it up and tried to scalp it outside of a Starbucks.

I saw a few of those today too. They must have been on some polyester sweater or something slippery.
