OK, so I am completely borrowing off of Laura's post with this post but I had to put this up for the benefit of my family's reading enjoyment. I was completely transported back to my childhood after reading how she was asked by her daughter about where babies come from and the book she had growing up that talked about the "birds and the bees".
Within the last week I have had two different Moms mention that "the question" has come up in their household and I am certain that our time is coming when we will need to have more answers too. Although, since Michael has been studying the Human Body book since he was 3 he could probably teach me a few things on how the body works!
My parents had this book when we were growing up and I totally remember Cheryl and I sneaking it up to our room and laughing at the pictures. Cartoon nudity at its finest!!!
Did anyone else have this book growing up?
Mom, do you still have this around the house??? I might have to borrow it if you do. Good times!!!!

Yes, I do recall that book! Ha! Ha! What about when we were are those MSU football games, after collecting cans and cashing in - checking out the dirty mags in the back! ha! ha!
Hysterical. Back before they actually had any kind of privacy devices blocking the front magazine covers. Too funny.
Introducing: The Sisters Pervy
For once, we never did that!!
Internet high five!
OK, so perhaps "checking out the mags" is a bit of a misleading description. They were at eye level and we didn't OPEN any of them - just saw them and laughed really. I don't like this pervy label being cast on the innocent young girls we were!
My, my... The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
I think the key to a good sex ed book for kids is NO pictures! The pictures, even the lame cartoon ones, are what makes the kid sneak the book out and show all their friends!
OMG...hilarious! btw...i do recall a couple of "sneak peaks" or maybe that was at georgey porgey's place across the lake! ha! ha!
