Officially a Soccer Mom

Exciting times ahead this week!

Erick had his first soccer practice last night in the cold drizzle and had an absolute blast. It was completely adorable watching the little ones run around after the ball and do their little drills.

Michael has his first practice tomorrow and then both boys have it again on Friday. Mike had volunteered me to help assist coaching for Michael's team which seemed like it was going to work out well until I was notified that the boys practices will both be on Wed and Fridays overlapping for 1/2 an hour - at different locations, of course. So if anyone has figured out how to be in two places at once, please let me know! I think I can make it work though as the schools are only about 5 minutes apart and both boys have friends on their teams.

Their first games are in two weeks so I will take pictures then. Fortunately none of their games overlap, except for one which we will be out of town for anyway. Lucky day!

I am so excited as it brings back a ton of memories for me from when I was younger! I loved soccer!!! My sport of choice if you will :-)

Erickson also starts school tomorrow. We went to an open house yesterday where he was a bit clingy but I know he will be fine once school starts and he has a chance to make some friends. He will be at the same school as Michael which is exciting for both boys!
