Yesterday Erickson's preschool class sang Christmas songs for a group of seniors who had a luncheon at church. The kids were asked to dress up a bit so here is Speedo looking very dapper. (The second shot he wanted to pose like the photographer had him pose for his school pictures.)
Mike and I also got to dress up last night as we went to a Christmas party for Mike's work. The highlight of the night was a white elephant gift exchange which was hilarious - I walked away with a DVD of the movie Capote (which I have wanted to see for some time), while Mike has a lovely new, giant purple cereal bowl that says "you rule!" at the bottom of it, complete with 8 small boxes of cereal. If there was ever a case for re-gifting something, this bowl would be it. But you didn't hear that from me :-)
Our Christmas festivities will continue throughout the weekend with two more parties - a dinner for us tonight and a party for the boys tomorrow. At some point I will find time to finish my gift shopping, decorate the house and get out my Christmas cards - which are looking more and more like they will be New Year's cards as the days continue to fly by at an alarming rate! The count down is on!!! Only 10 more days until Christmas!

Too cute! Hard to believe this little "stud-muffin" [I was going to say "angel", but he still has a mystevious look in his eye!] would want fake poop for xmas! HA! HA! As for the beer that doesn't surprise me - his mommy was like that at her age, I do recall and I am sure AliB will agree! HA! HA! Hmmm...I wonder if Grandma was like that at her age too, or what about Grandpa Andy? Certainly not auntie Cheryl! Maybe Uncle Mark! HA! HA!
