Michael is celebrating his first snow day of the year. I will probably sound so old in saying this, but I will say it any way. Back when I was in school, we NEVER had snow days!!! I should have checked the school closing report before leaving for school as it was sleeting outside, but as I did not we drove to school anyway. Funny how those snow days work - we made it to school just fine.
Now, I don't know where to begin with this one but it made me laugh. In Michael's free time this morning he made the following card for me (if you click on the image you will be able to see it better):
When I asked him to read the little clips he cut out and asked what the card meant he replied, "you have to pay me money?" Hmmmmmm.

Little does he know, him mommy rec'd an allowance of $50/week for chores she never had to do! Where did all the money go? Over The Rainbow, Friendlys, Rand Drug Store, and/or A. L. Price [I think that was the name]? Or maybe used in Vermont!
