Sicky, sicky

We have the snow, we have the ice, and we have the twice a year -- whether we want them or not -- sicknesses. Ugh. So far we have all had sniffles, coughs and sore throats on varying levels. Michael was hit over Thanksgiving with a little bug and then lost his voice over the weekend for a while (nice, yes?)

and now Mike is taking his turn this week with a nasty sore throat. Poor Daddy!

This picture is from when he was sick a few years ago over Christmas, but I thought it would be cruel to take a new one...

On a positive note, as he was feeling better, Michael started his next level of swimming lessons last night. He is now in a class with two girls so needless to say, it isn't quite as fun as it was last time. That, and they are doing much, much more lap swimming in this level. He was pretty tired last night ;-)

And just because she is so cute... Our friend, and groomsman, Justin sent Mike a link to his local newspaper with an article featuring a picture of his adorable daughter Sarah, a budding chef. Maybe she and our budding chef, Erickson can open a restaurant when they get older.
