So, it is official. Michael is now a full fledged 2nd grader after completing a stellar 1st grade year.
Thanks to Guitar Hero, this is a song we have been singing since 10:00 AM last Friday morning when Michael ran from the school building cheering and throwing his books and hands in the air! OK, so maybe I am exaggerating a bit as the scene was a little less dramatic than that...the point is he's out and couldn't be happier. We are very proud of what he has accomplished this past year and how much he has grown.
Last week also brought a close to a fun baseball season. Michael had his last game on Thursday night. Thankfully they ended the season better than I thought they might at the beginning and were even tied for first for a while.

The Cardinals certainly have been a tenacious team this year.
We are enjoying so far! And the best thing which I forgot to mention...it is 8:00 PM, the sun is still plenty high in the sky and the kids are outside playing! YAHOO!!! No early bedtimes!
