Starbucks has nothing on me...

Mike, go ahead an skip this post.

This is for anyone who likes flavored coffee. I usually like my coffee to taste something like a dessert and this recipe is delicious.

You will need:

vanilla flavored coffee grounds
several broken up pieces of cinnamon bark
1 Tbs hot chocolate mix
1 Tbs vanilla coffee creamer

Add the broken up pieces of cinnamon bark to the coffee grounds and start brewing. Then, mix the hot chocolate and coffee creamer together in your cup. Stir in your coffee and enjoy!

I am enjoying a cup right now to try and get the chill out of my bones. Did I mention it was freezing cold outside!

Sounds great! I'll go vomit in my shoes now!

Coffee is black, bitter, and boiling hot. What you've made there is a House Frau Cocktail.

And while I'm on a good curmudgeon streak: This pot of gold "Michael's Challenge" thing is a farce. He's as rotten as ever.

BAH! HUMBUG! And your little dog, too!

Sounds like someone could use a little sugar in his bitter coffee. My dear, sweet, never-a-bad-word-spoken husband. Hence the part about you skipping this post.

Perhaps this Michael person should refer to the previous post with birds chirping and sun shining.

I would truly like this to be said at my funeral: "We're all here to remember Mike, who never, ever had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone." I think that would bring the house down. Hey, I calls them like I sees them. Dessert belongs in a pie crust, not a coffee cup.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Okay, as a previous resident of Seattle, I must object to the misuse of coffee in this manner. Adding cocoa to flavored coffee is sacrilegious and a crime against nature. I must plead with you to remove such mockery from this blog. OHMYGOSH...it appears that I am in agreement with my brother. Somebody write down the date...but only after this recipe is destroyed.

I have to agree with auntie kris, the high priestess of coffee. Although, I myself prefer dessert in a cup too...so gimme a Grande in a Venti with 6 pumps of classic syrup and cold organic milk.....yummmmm.......

Come on coffee snobs! It is fantastic. However, Kris, since you are agreeing with Mike on something I did stop for a moment to give pause to what I had written. Ha! At least I didn't say to use decaffeinated coffee. To me THAT is a true crime.

You are right about the decaf comment and I am happy that you don't use instant either!! Although my dear grandmother was a "one stiff cup" of instant in the morning gal!! ugh.
But...you definitely have a more sophisticated palate than this recipe would suggest!! Throw in a frog's leg or something!!

You and Mike can have a good laugh at my expense...I was thinking that a nice slice of a newt roll would be perfect! ha!
