Another one down

Michael happily returned to school this morning, while Daddy took his place at home.

I am sad to report that the virus has defeated the last healthy member of our family as Mike has succumbed to its horribleness and is home ill today. He fought it the best he could for the last few days, but he is feeling miserable and had a pretty nasty fever earlier. He is resting now and hopefully it won't last long.

In the paraphrased words of Geoffrey Jellyneck, "you can send flowers, but please no mylar balloons. They never fully deflate and he just doesn't have the heart to throw them away." (I am now convinced there is a Myspace page for everyone. I told you we are obsessed with Strangers with Candy.)
