was sooo NOT ours lat night. Michael's team had their second baseball game yesterday and by all means, I do not mean for this to come off the wrong way as it was fun to watch and the kids had a good time playing, but let's just say that if the other teams are anything like the team we played yesterday, we will long cherish our victory of opening day.
To be fair, the other team definitely had a handful of bigger, older looking players and appeared to have more knowledge of what was going on. I am guessing that they had a lot of second year players, whereas we are most definitely a team of first year players who don't fully understand the rules of the game yet. It is a bit different from T-ball!
My friend who also has a son on the team said that it was like watching the Bad News Bears which cracked me up. But, as it is only the second game of the season, we will hope for better luck next time!
On a cleaning note, I am open to any suggestions on how to keep the white uniform pants clean. The tag says no bleach, but Michael's pants were pretty much ruined after the first game. I suppose it could be that I waited two days to wash them, but his are already covered in grass and mud stains.

Now you're soliciting laundry tips? It's the BOY FAMILY blog, lady. Baseball, fire-making, video games, and the occasional bra sighting are good topics. Grass stains ain't.
Try oxy clean. or check out this link-

Let me know what ends up working.
Pre-treat with Shout...wait a few minutes (or several days) and bleach the heck out of them. Sometimes I let them soak in the laundry tub with Shout on them.
When that doesn't work, keep one pair solely for games. Grey is best for practice. And, don't forget your cup.
