We had a fun visit with Mike's Dad and Betty, but like most visits it was over too quickly. Saturday night we went to Grand Haven for dinner and ate at a nice restaurant called Dee Lite. The food was delicious - the seafood pasta was divine! 
Our original plan was to eat at a restaurant that was set along the water with a fantastic view of the lake and sunset, however we didn't take into account that it was homecoming that weekend so we had to revise our plans as the place was booked with young teeny-boppers in all of their sparkly glamour.
Sunday after Dad and Betty departed, we went to a friend's house for a hayride (which we missed by about 10 minutes) and to pick some apples in their neighbors apple orchard. 
It was a nice day and the kids had fun walking through the fields and playing football with the other little boys there. Michael alone ate about 5 apples that afternoon and I am embarrassed to say how many apples I ended up coming home with - let's just say that I am open to any recipes you might have that involves cooking apples. On the docket for this week is canning applesauce and apple butter and a possible pie this weekend. Wish me luck. We have already plowed through a dozen apple muffins and a loaf of apple bread.

It should be noted that the Nerf Weather Blitz was first adopted by the Boy Family South chapter. We just hadn't run across one in our retail meanderings until last week.

You haven't told your mom about the "other" boys? It's time she knew about the sect. :)
Although I have long suspected, it saddens me to learn that my wife has another wife. We will work through this together and share some beers as we hide from our wives in the garage watching Bengals games. (Or "games" as the case may be.)
Funny how polygamy never seems to go that way. Who would want more than one husband? It's like another eyebrow...it's just another thing to pluck?
