We are ready to start the holidays this week with gingerbread house decorating in Erickson's class on Monday and a Thanksgiving Feast with Michael's class on Tuesday. The boys only have half days these next two days and then are off until next Monday. Yikes!
I am almost finished shopping for their Christmas gifts which is great! Having them find my stash of presents earlier set me back a little, but at least I know they are excited about what they are getting! Their wish list so far has been basically anything Star Wars which makes for easy shopping.
Well, I am officially tired. After 4 loads of laundry, a quick clean-up of the house, one VERY loud and active play date with 2 seven year olds, a six year old and a four year old (see below), 6 personal pizzas, 7 dozen cookies (that is baking, not eating!), and a shopping trip to Target, I am ready to call it a day.
P.S. I anxiously await seeing my parents later this week--Free babysitting! ...Wait, did I say that out loud! I meant to say that I can't wait for my children to spend some quality time with their grandparents -- without me. No, that came out horribly wrong too! HA! I kid. I kid!?
