With Christmas nearly around the corner and the weather finally starting to look and feel like winter, the boys are focusing on their Christmas wish lists.
Michael and I went to Toys R Us last night with the mission of finding a Christmas gift for him to give to Erickson. It went pretty much as I expected with him looking for toys for himself about 90% of the time and for his brother the remaining 10%. It will be Erickson's turn to go later and I imagine it will prove to be a similar experience.
This morning Erick and I started making out his list for Santa. We went right to the source for reference. The whole idea of visions of sugarplums dancing in kids heads is actually more like visions of plastic in his case. For the record, for the last two weeks when asked what he wanted for Christmas his reply has been fake poop and an empty beer bottle. For real. That is the kind of humor we are up against with this one.

Insert apple/tree argument re: humor. I'm so sorry.
After what we have seen these last few days we are in for quite a ride.
Inserting private joke - "Cha-ching!"
