Mike and I were trying to decide who in the family Michael most resembles so I decided to go through some old family photos. This will probably be of more interest to our family relations, but I thought it was kind of fun. The true family historians in our family are my Mom and Mike's uncle Fred, and we are thankful for all of their work. I consider this my little contribution...
Lately I think that Michael has started to look more and more like my Dad's branch of the family. Here is a picture of Grandpa Andy and Michael around the same age:
Grandpa Andy continues to look like the spitting image of his Dad, my Grandpa Andy.
While Erickson, on the other hand, may get his name from his maternal roots, he continues to look like Mike's "Mini-Me".
with the exception of his chin dimple which the best I can tell might have come from my Mom's dad, my Grandpa Les
The family resemblance running through Mike's family is strong. This is a picture of Mike's Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Fred:

The picture of his Grandpa Fred holds such a strong resemblance to Mike that the first time we saw it we couldn't stop staring at it.I will stop my analysis for now. I could go on and might at another time, but the boys are getting a little restless in my absence.

that's funny, I was just thinking that Erick looks so much like Mike but couldn't tell who Michael resembled.
I'm sure your hubby will be happy that you've had three posts in a row dedicated to the boys:)
Yes, Erick is definitely Mike's look-a-like, but Mike says that Michael definitely ACTS more like he did at that age.
And yes, I am back on track with the PURPOSE of my blog ;-) HA!
Wow....so true, Grandpa Fred looks like Mike - he could be a twin! Wow!
