Crafty

Last night we were all experiencing a little cabin fever so I decided that we needed a craft and suggested that the boys could make some valentine's cards to hand out in class. Erick was so excited to make his and spent about 2 hours cutting and coloring to get all 20 cards finished for his class. He enjoyed making them so much that today he has decided to make more hearts to hand out to the family. He has made more than enough at present for everyone he needs one for but assured me that he has many, many more to make. Michael decided to make his Valentine's in the shape of snow flakes with hearts cut out which are really cute. He was a little less motivated last night so has a few more to make this afternoon.

We agreed it was a good way to use up all of the pink and purple construction paper we have accumulated.

Michael had yet ANOTHER snow day today taking the total up to about 4 or 5. We spent about an hour this morning trying to dig our way out of the driveway, but had to come in for a rest. Fortunately it isn't too cold out. Hopefully school will be back on tomorrow as Michael is supposed to have a party in class.
