My, my, such a lack of posting this past week. My apologies as I am certain that my small handful of faithful readers have been pondering my absence. What's that? Not really? Hmm. OK, well then let's just move on then...
Saturday morning we traveled to Coldwater again and stayed in the hotel we stayed at previously. We had an enjoyable time and the boys had fun swimming and delighted in getting their fix of Cartoon Network/Disney channel while we were there.
This morning Michael and Mike woke up at 6:00 AM to go ice fishing with a friend of Mike's. Michael insisted that I take a picture of the clock as proof of his early rising! So while Erickson and I stayed snuggled in our warm beds, Mike and Michael headed out into the bright morning sunshine for a fantastic few hours of ice fishing. Michael had a great time and caught 5 fish while Mike caught a few as well. I believe that their total catch between the three of them was 19. Not bad.
Here are some photos of Michael the fisherman:
And yes, I realize that Erickson looks kind of scruffy in these pictures. We are in the process of growing out his buzz cut and it is proving to be quite a process. That, and the lovely gash on his forehead I am ashamed to say would be a direct result of my finger nail. He was walking by me as I was taking my jacket off and I completely got him in the forehead with my thumb nail. I felt horrible!

Someone call Child Protective Services. That lady is crazy!
IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!!
And I quote: "I felt horrible". How do you feel now? Little better now that you got your stab-the-kid-with-your-nail fix out of the way? For shame, for shame.
Children as pawns? For shame on the bofe of you.
You spelled "prawns" wrong. Besides, he's more like a king crab.
Michelle, I didn't know you were a "nail girl". But, I do know that this was an accident. He's young and has now learned that he needs to keep his head out of the way of your nails!
Any chance you loan these little guys out? My dad would love these kids! (Big Mike too!) Anyone who will fish with him. He's driving an hour+ today (in 6 inches of snow) to find rapalas.
Her nails are the "scoop" type. Have to have those to get all the requisite paintings of palm trees, stars, and monster trucks on them. They look real nice. Real real nice.
Like, totally, palm trees and stars are so last year. Give me some gold paint with a diamond stuck in the middle. Now we're talkin'.
She was asking about your nails, not your teeth. Please try to pay attention.
Awwwww. You funny. You and your humor box.
