First, a HUGE thank you to Aunt Kris for requesting today's report - for several reasons as will become obvious!
I have been busy cleaning ALL morning as my parents are now coming this afternoon instead of on Saturday as originally rescheduled. Obviously this calls for a cleaning frenzy with my last minute ways as I was too tired to do it last night. Soooo, I have not been able to dedicate my usual time to my computer browsing and posting, but I decided to check in and see what the what-what was. Upon seeing Kris' request for the gator update I went to go check on it for his daily photo shoot. Imagine my SURPRISE, yeah, that word will do to keep the language on this post family friendly, at finding the bath tub EMPTY. AGGHGHHGHHHH.
Michael thought it was finished growing so he had taken it out of the tub and moved it to the couch (of course) in the back room - dripping water all the way. Which segues nicely to a point where I could go on complaining for 5 minutes about how I am fighting a losing battle with tidying this place up, but I will spare you from that tirade...
I told Michael that it needed to go back to the tub as it had more growing to do and so here we are. Today's photos:

Sweat!
Who is this "Anonymous" clown? I see no perspiration in these photos.
That gator is, however, sweet! Whoa. He got so big, too.
Have fun with your folks. I'm sure the dripping wet gator on the couch was a pleasant surprise.
Why don't the kids have school today???
"Sweat, dude". It's an early 90's thang...I think?
And the boys didn't have school today because someone was conspiring against me. No, that came out wrong. They are off for a long Easter weekend. They will be home on Monday too...
Sweat was a MLK thing. Probably contributed to some serious shoe rotting odors.
"Sweat" is an intentional mispronunciation of "sweet," and was, I believe, propagated by Burley of ATO fame. PJ played a role in pushing that term, too. "Sweat" should not be confused with "Chach" or "self-haze". All are related, yet very different.
What is the brand of that gator? That would be a fun experiment in patience in our home!
Thank you for the definition of "sweat". It does come into clarity for me now as to where I heard the term used so often.
And Robin, the gator is made by Toysmith - Ginormous Grow Crocodile. We found ours at a local bookstore, but I have found them online as well. I would definitely say it has provided more than $4 worth of entertainment, no?! And the fun part which I am saving for a future post - when it is done growing, it shrinks and can be regrown multiple times!!! SShhhhhh - don't tell!
MLK leaves out one of the more important ATO terms of that era, fasha.
