I am

a computer GENIUS! OK, so that might be stretching it A LOT, but I am pretty proud of myself. We bought our computer maybe 2 years ago, maybe a little less and ever since we bought it we have had one trouble after another. At the end of the year last year we even took it back to Best Buy for a visit to the Loser Squad and were charged $20 (never mind the fact that we paid for the service/repair package) for them to tell us that nothing was wrong with it - even though we continually got error messages. Not that we were bitter or are holding a grudge, but let's just say I won't be one of these people this year (sorry, these Black Friday videos always entertain me) ...

Anyway, over the last 3 days I have spent a good part of my time fixing some major issues affecting our computer and think I have everything in working order. (My fingers are firmly crossed!!!) I won't go into detail on how my neglect of the computer in the past has been a part of some of our problems, but I openly share in a portion of the blame. But all seems to be working now so let's hope for the best. So there you have it, yeah for me!

GOOD JOB!! You said it....LOSER Squad! They had Josh's work machine once. I had to go pick it up. So, I drive 35 minutes to Ann Arbor and they won't give it to me because HE checked it in! FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, (get nowhere), CALL MY HUSBAND(!) (get nowhere), return home without the freaking machine! They are total idiots and Geeks is right-STUPID GEEKS! Thanks--you just put me in a rage over this! Just kidding--I'm very proud of your diligence on your 'puter and I could've told you you were a computer genius after the banner you made me!! (that I haven't not used because I didn't like it, just because I haven't been organized enough to update my blog's "look") Rut ro--was this comment too long, are there rules about such things?

My lovely wife omitted the fact that I had unsuccessfully tried to fix the computer on and off over the last year. Did I mention that I had no success? She figured it out after a scant 4 hours of work. She truly is a computer genius.

And, with a comment like that, you need to quit your day job asap and start running "Husband Training Seminars!"

Megan - I don't think that there are rules about comments being too long! Mike used to tell me that I wasn't supposed to leave comments on my own blog. I strongly disagreed with him because generally I am responding to another person's comment. Besides, it's my blog so I can pretty much do what I want, right?

I think that the blogger should keep his/her comments to a minimum. Your space is the main post, the comments are the conversation that others are having about the post. And this was supposed to be a boy blog, not a Barbie party. What with your knit purses and semi-nude pillow fights. For shame. When you enter the comments conversation, you naturally speak more loudly than the other contributors, thereby ruining the exchange. RUINING.

Semi-nude pillow fights. For shame indeed. THIS is a family blog, thank you very much. Ruining the exchange, or participating? I say participating. How fun is a conversation when one party doesn't say anything?
